Shelly received an attendance award for the 2nd trimester - Congratulations Shelly!
Ryan and dad completed this great cake for the Blue and Gold Banquet (okay mom helped a little too because dad was working). The theme was All American Sports - what's more American than a Dallas Cowboys football game?
We completed a couple more projects (thank goodness that I stocked back up on sticky products after our last project run). Shelly made a diaroma on the dimetrodon dinosaur, along with a report. The dimetrodon dinosaur was like a large lizard 6-12 feet long and 4 feet tall. It had two types of sharp teeth and a spiny sail on its back.
Ryan did a project on the San Fernando Mission. He had to research the mission, and then illustrate about 10 different rooms/locations and then write 3-4 sentences for each illustration. Did you know that the courtyard of the mission was once used as a hog farm? The things you learn from these projects!

Wow! Congrats to Ryan and Shelly! That's awesome. We are sooo proud of them. Your trip to Glamis looked like tons of fun. I loved the fire! Too cool.
Trevor did the same mission. Did you guys have to build the mission too? Congrats everybody!!!
