We had the opportunity to "get away" for the weekend. We took our camping trailer and went up to Barton Flats in the San Bernardino Mountains. We left on Thursday and returned on Sunday. We had an open invitation for people to join us, and the Bodnar family was able to go too. It was sooooooo awesome! The weather was WEIRD! But that was ok, BECAUSE IT SNOWED! It was the first time that my kids have seen snow falling from the sky! (The first time that some of them have even been in snow.) I loved it! It reminded me of my youth and living in Utah. We were able to relax and work on some projects we never seem to have time for. We watched movies, made smores, drank hot chocolate, played games and worked on scout activites. It was a much needed break and something I think my kids will remember for a long time!

That is so fun! There are those times that are just the best, that the kids will definitely talk about for a long time to come. Having my kids get all grown up, some of the greatest times are the "remember when"'s!
That picture of Bradin is so cute! He looks like he doesn't quite know what to think of the snow thing. Looks like you guys had a good time. It makes me wish I could go on a vacation!!!
