Utah Vacation Continued-

After leaving Buffalo Bills we traveled to Las Vegas (a whole 45 minutes away). There we stayed at the Excalibur.

We got there pretty early and spent time having fun. We watched the 4-D movies of Spongebob Squarepants and Polar Express. It was a ride/special effects/movie. The kids really enjoyed it!

Then we headed over to New York, New York so that the boys could ride the roller coaster. (Shelly wanted to but she was too little). They had a blast! We hung out that night and watched new release movies in the hotel room. The next morning we slept in (a rare occurrence in our house). We finally checked out and got on the road.

That night we visited with Scott and Michelle and their family and rested from the drive. The next morning the kids woke up to snow! They loved playing in it! It didn't last long, but it was fun while it lasted!

We spent the rest of that day at Temple Square in Salt Lake. We toured the Conference Center and got to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice. We ate at the Lion House. We saw the Joseph Smith movie in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We went up to the observation deck in the Church Administrative Building. We toured the Tabernacle and the Visitor's Center.

Everything was decked out in lights! It was beautiful!

The next day we went with Scott and Michelle's family in search of some snow and lots of it! We ended up at Park City! Snowball fights, snow angels, rolling down the hill -

Thank goodness for hot chocolate! Cold, wet kids can get pretty grouchy!

On the way home, we wanted to stop for just a minute at the 'This is the Place' Monument. We ended up taking a train ride tour and getting VIP treatment (I think we were the only customers all day).

After getting back to Scott and Michelle's, we cleaned up and got to go out on an adult only date! We ate at the Tuscany Restaurant in Cottonwood Heights. (Thanks Suzie for babysitting! Brady is a brat - I know!) (Thanks for the pictures Michelle, :) I stole them from your blog)

Thank you Scott and Michelle for making our vacation great! We appreciate your hospitality! It was fun hanging out and visiting with you guys!
