Tayler Goes to District History Day

Tayler participated in the district History Day competition. He had to set up his project in the huge auditorium the night before. The next day he had to check in 45 minutes before his appointment time, and he had to be standing outside the auditorium door 10 minutes before his appointment. When they called his name, he went inside and stood in front of his project and was interviewed by a group of three judges. He did a really good job and told the judges about his project and why he chose Joseph Smith.

Our family came back later in the day so that we could walk around and look at other people's projects. Then later that night there was the awards ceremony. The kids from Tayler's school sat next to our family and friends.

Tayler received a medal and a certificate.

Tayler's project didn't go on to the next level, but he did an amazing job! His picture was featured in the morning announcements that are telecasted to the school and he got his name up in lights on the schools marquee.

Great Job Tayler!
