Larsen Family Reunion

This is a long post - but lots of fun! The week after the Dilworth Family visited we got to spend a week with Kris' side of the family for the annual Larsen Family Reunion! The Reunion happened the week leading up to the 4th of July, when all of the kids were out of school. This year we all gathered in Corona (where Kris' parents live). Our activities were fun things that allowed for plenty of opportunity to hang out. It was an AWESOME week! We took some family pictures. My mom and dad have 12 grandchildren. The oldest is my Tayler (age 12), and the youngest is my Bradin (age 3). When my family gets together, 'there's always something happening and it's usually quite loud' :) - Kris and Norm's family with kids Bradin, Ryan, Shelly and Tayler - Bart and Heather's family with kids Caitlyn, Megan and Dallin - Jer and Lisa's family with kids Ally and Mo - Cassie and Robert's family with kids Luke, Jake, and Trevor - The beautiful women of the family - The handsome men - For the first time, we enjoyed a talent show put on by the kids. The kids were able to share useful and non-useful talents. Trevor MC'd the event to count toward a scout merit badge - Shelly sang a song and Keiri accompanied her - Ryan transformed a hard transformer with his eyes closed. He also got to share a "mega-burp" - Megan and Ally performed a duet - Here Luke struts his stuff, aided by Robert - Dallin shares a piece on the piano - Tayler showed us a Lego-video that he created - Caitlyn performs Yoga for us - Mo had us all laughing with his lip synced dance routine - Bradin shared some of his interesting animated faces, and some of his animal sounds - Jake multitasks by playing a video game and spelling hard words - Trevor played the violin - As you can tell it was a terrific event that is sure to be a recurring activity. We have some talented kids! Tayler was there for the first night and then had to leave to go to scout camp - we missed him! On one day, we had a beach outing (and I forgot my camera). On another day, the kids made patriotic t-shirts to celebrate the 4th of July. We had a dinner and a game night at my parent's office. (There's always good food when the Larsen's get together!) We learned how to play Bunko and everyone got into the fun! There was a donut eating contest - and the kids played 'Don't Eat Pete' - The kids were hyped up on sugar! For prizes, we got MORE CANDY! The kids were in heaven! We spent a couple of days at Jer's house, hanging out in his pool! One day we brought over the cotton candy machine and enjoyed cotton candy! The best part was that we spent time together and had fun.
