We went hiking at South Lake -
We spent lots of time at Cardinal Village - it is also one of our favorite spots. It is up the mountain about two miles from Upper Intake 2. It used to be a mining community. The cabins that the miners stayed in are rented out to campers. They have a small general store, a cafe, a fishing pond, a fish cleaning station, caves to hike to and they offer horse back rides up to the mine.
Tayler and Ryan are in the "Hall of Fame" for 2007. Their pictures are still up.
We played so hard that Bradin fell asleep in his food TWICE!! He played so hard that he just dropped the minute he sat down. Lots of playing can do that!

What a great trip. We should go camping with you sometime . . . maybe just meet you up in Big Bear. The kids would love it!
