Sierra Vacation!

We had the opportunity to spend some time in the Sierra's above Bishop, CA. It was fantastic!! We had so much fun while we were there - it was a much needed break. Going to the Sierra's has become an annual tradition for our family. This year some of Norm's side of the family joined us. Our family, and Lynne and Papa Biehn (Norm's parents) went up on a Wednesday (August 5th) so that we could get good spots. Coni and Kyle, and Jeremy, Jocelyn, and girls came up the next day. Everyone except us went home on Sunday, we stayed an extra day to try and squeeze in more fun! There were so many exciting things that I'm going to break it up into smaller posts. First, there is the landscape. I know that when my dad sees these pictures, we'll be trying to plan another trip (which is okay with me), so indulge me for a moment :)!

We stayed at Upper Intake 2 and we got our favorite camping spot (ours is the trailer/truck on the far left)!

While we were there we went to Lake Sabrina, South Lake, Cardinal Village, and Upper Intake 2. We fished, hiked, played, threw rocks in the stream, went exploring, relaxed, watched movies, played games, read books, and ate (good food and lots of it)!
