This happened a little while ago, but I haven't had time to post about it. The kids have been riding their bikes to school lately. Shelly is still pretty new at riding her bike, so she has been riding the scooter. On the way home from school, the scooter broke. She was pretty upset because she fell AND the wheel came off! The boys were soooo good. They walked their bikes ALL THE WAY HOME so that they could stay with Shelly. They are good kids! Later that night Tayler went into the garage and fixed the scooter ALL BY HIMSELF! It is hard to believe that he is getting so grown up. Soon he will be off to Middle School! Aghhhh!

Ahhhh, those are sweet mommy moments, when the older kids spontaneously step up to the plate on their own...makes my heart smile!
