It is official! Tayler graduated from the 6th grade!

At the Promotion Ceremony held on June 26th he received many awards, including: Honor Roll for the 3rd Trimester - which wasn't a surprise.

But he received a couple of BIG AWARDS that were totally AWESOME! He was one of the students that received the award of 'Outstanding Sixth Grade Student' along with this trophy.
But the most AWESOME was saved for the end of the Ceremony! Tayler received the President's Award (as in the President of the United States!) He got this award because he has had Honor Roll or Principal's Honor Roll for every trimester since 4th grade.

He also received a letter congratulating him from President George W. Bush.

Congratulations Tayler! Way to Go! We are VERY proud of you!

Wow, that's really cool! I didn't know they did that for honor roll students. Good for Tayler! The only awards I ever got were the "good citizen" awards. Which basically was the "You-don't-do-anything-outstanding-but-we-have-to-give-you-something" award. Good for Tayler for standing out!
WoW! That is awesome! Good job Tayler. Tell him we are so proud of him. Please tell him to stop putting the bar so high though. All of our kids don't stand a chance. They will look like idiots compared to him! J/K!!!!! LOL
We are really excited for him!
(By the way...your blog looks adorable!)
What a great accomplishment! Such a great young man. It was so good to see you the other night. Your kids are terrific, learning well from Mom and Dad more than anywhere else!!
Congrats Tay!
